This is an even older memo in regards to pilot feedback on motion cues from the motion base and the usability of the simulator. The memo follows:

It is interesting to note that this is a very old memo (1978) in regards to motion based training for pilots especially for IFR and low-level flight. The fact that the pilot doesn't have to rely on the visuals to figure out where the aircraft is in space is an interesting fact (#3, page 2).
